Our Lord’s Supper

Communion is celebrated here at the close of each Sunday service. We use this sacred meal as an opportunity to respect the head of each household, whether male or female, as the spiritual leader, God intends them to be at home all week long. Tables of bread and grape juice are set up around the room where we welcome the believing head of each household to serve the elements of the Lord's Supper to the believing members of his or her family, and also to any guests who they may include.

In most cases we partake together at the same time as a united congregation, but not always. Sometimes we encourage families to huddle together, or even slip outside to a quieter place, to use this special meal to draw them closer to one another in Christ.

Either way, we ask you to first examine yourself. Confess your sins to God and renew right relationships with one another as needed. Forgive one another. Weep together. Laugh together. Embrace. Only then should you partake. As a visitor, you may join yourself to a member's household as their guest.
